Senior Shoot Leader

"As the senior shoot leader, I’m based in one of the three in-house studios. I spend my days surrounded by models and clothes- it’s a very hard life! The in-house team consists of hair and make-up artists, stylists and fashion photographers so there is a real sense of creativity in the studio that creates a unique working environment.

Shooting begins at 10am and we finish at 5pm on the dot. Because we have high targets to meet there’s always a massive buzz in the studio with everyone always eager and determined to reach them, whilst maintaining the quality of the shots.

The feeling of satisfaction at the end of a shoot is incredible, and I feel immensely privileged to be part of such an inspiring company."

Buyer’s Administrator, Menswear Brands

"If you enjoy a fast paced and exciting environment, then asos is the place for you.

I currently assist the buying team on menswear brands and in the past two years have learnt so much. Being a Buyers Assistant is all about supporting the buying function by being proactive and flexible with your time.

Communication is key, as not only must you liaise with suppliers, but you must ensure that your buyer knows all the ins-and-outs of their department.

I also ensure samples are managed from approval stage to the shoot process ensuring the image is available to upload onto the site.

I am passionate about fashion and it’s that passion that keeps me motivated and eager to learn, and asos really encourages that. It’s a great place to work as they allow you to develop yourself and push yourself as much as you can, giving you access to training courses and development days.

Not only does asos offer you so much in the work environment, they are known to reward hard work with the occasional party - which always helps to keep your spirits up!

All in all asos is a great place to work. It is an exciting, ever-growing company that offers great opportunities and rewards."

Fashion Manager/Operations

"I’m passionate about working at asos, especially on the days we hold model castings and have the very tough job of riffling through portfolios! But despite this obvious perks, the best thing about my role as Fashion Manager is that no two days are ever the same.

There are constantly new challenges and projects that keep you on your toes. I think I can speak for everyone in the team when I say this.

‘Boring’ days that are so frequent in other companies just don’t seem to exist here, and the upbeat, friendly and keen team that make up each department at asos definitely have a lot to do with this. It’s really such an exciting place to be right now, and it’s not often people can say that about their 9-5!"
